Dokusho Bookstore has been operating as an online second hand bookstore since 2017 and have opened its brick-and-mortar store in Southbank Residence along Jalan Klang Lama, KL in February 2022.

We have moved out of the Southbank store and opened our brick-and-mortar store in Ara Damansara in March 2024. 



1. I am looking for specific book titles, how do I search for that on your online website? 

You can use the search box on our website to make a search.

If you are browsing from mobile, the search box is under the menu. If you are browsing from desktop, the search box is on the top right corner. 



1. How do I place an order on your online website?

Please click the "Add to cart" button on the respective product page.

The shipping rate will be calculated automatically at checkout based on the total weight, shipping destination, and your choice of delivery option.

2. How do I make payment for online orders?

We currently accept online banking and e-wallet payment via iPay88 for Malaysian customers.

1. Do you ship internationally?

We only ship within Malaysia at the moment.

2. What are the shipping options available?

We offer the following shipping services for delivery within Malaysia:
  • Poslaju by POS Malaysia - for East Malaysia (EM) & West Malaysia (WM).
  • Ninjavan - for West Malaysia (WM) only. 
  • Domestic Parcel (Sea Freight) by POS Malaysia for East Malaysia (EM) only. 

All the shipping services above come with tracking numbers and customers will be informed of their respective tracking number(s) once the order is out for delivery. 

3. How much is the shipping rate?

The shipping rate will be calculated automatically at checkout based on the total weight, shipping destination, and your choice of delivery service.

Poslaju rate starts from RM8.50 for delivery within West Malaysia (WM).

4. When will my order be posted out and where to find my tracking number?

Your order will be processed and dispatched from our warehouse in 3 to 4 working days. This is the order processing duration. 

You will receive a notification email / SMS once the tracking number is available. Alternatively, you can click the "View your order" button in the order confirmation email to check the tracking number. 

5. Once the order is dispatched from your warehouse, how long does it take for my order to be delivered?

Delivery duration above serves as a guide and the actual delivery duration may vary depending on the courier service provider. 

6. How do I track the delivery status?

For POS Malaysia, the delivery status can be tracked online at www.pos.com.my. 

For Ninjavan, the delivery status can be tracked online at https://www.ninjavan.co/en-my/tracking 

7. What is my next course of action if my parcel is late?

In case of late delivery, you may contact the courier service provider directly to file a report and actions will be taken to expedite the delivery. 

8. What is my next course of action if my parcel is lost?

Dokusho Bookstore is not responsible for lost merchandise during shipment by the postal/shipping delivery service provider. However, Dokusho Bookstore would provide assistance in claims of direct losses for missing items caused by delivery. 



1. Can I do self collection or COD?

You can opt to self collect your online orders from our physical store @ Ara Damansara during the store's opening hours (Tue-Sun, 8am to 4pm. Closed on Mondays). 



1. What does purchasing a merchandise "as is" means?

Dokusho Bookstore always endeavours to provide and accurate description of our merchandise. However, due to the nature of second hand books, Dokusho Bookstore cannot guarantee the quality of the merchandise and/or identify all its defects.

Purchasing a merchandise "as is" refers to the customer understands and accept all defects, stated or otherwise, when purchasing the merchandise.
